CHEMICAL PEEL
Chemical peels are used firstly for a deep exfoliation to get rid of the dead skin cells. This is very important to keep the surface layer of skin cells healthy and new meaning your skin will look smoother and fresher. Secondly, the type of chemical peel used is tailored to your skin care goals. You can choose between; anti-ageing, anti-acne or anti-pigmentation just let us know on the day which one you would like.
Chemical Peels as an anti-acne treatment?
A chemical peel is one of the only treatments that you can use on active acne. Combined with good skincare the results are incredible! The Salycilic, Azelaic, Lactic and Glycolic Acids in this specific peel are optimally combined for the best results.
What can I do after the appointment to produce optimum results?
As a professionally managed Aesthetics Clinic we stock the CLINICARE Home Skincare range. All of the skincare in the CLINICARE collection is medical grade and contains a very high concentration of active ingredients. At your appointment we can recommend specific and targeted skincare which will continue to provide you with results from home, not just while you are having your treatments in the clinic!
Another very important factor that you can manage yourself is reducing your skin’s exposure to UV. Wearing SPF50+ every day of the year (even when it is raining or overcast) is not only crucial for your skin health but it will also help to combat the majority of your skin concerns.
At your appointment we may recommend a combination of chemical skin peels with microneedling, where we microneedle products into the skin that are also from our advanced CLINICARE range to help you to achieve the best results.
How many sessions will I need?
A minimum of 3 treatments will be required. Your practitioner Bex will advise on your first appointment depending on your skin and your goals.
